Laura Sherring-Lucas is our assistant practice manager. She joined the practice in September 2007 as a receptionist after completing her A-levels at Tring School. Laura has been coming to the practice for many years with her animals and currently lives in Tring with her husband and chocolate labrador Brooke. Laura also has horses to keep her busy outside of work hours!
Our team of receptionists...
We have experienced receptionists on duty to take your calls and help you see a veterinary consultant quickly.
Our medical staff all are fully qualified and have a high level of expertise in caring for domestic species, with over 30 years experience of small-animal nursing between them. Reception is run by a team of two full-time and two part-time members. As a first point of contact they are able to offer advice on when an appointment with a vet is needed, as well as being able to answer many day-to-day questions regarding routine healthcare.
Carol Spooner has been with us since 2001. She is our other part-time receptionist. She has worked as a veterinary receptionist for over 20 years in several previous practices as well as working at the RSPCA.
Sheila Griffiths joined the practice in March 2012 as a part-time receptionist. She lives in Aldbury with her husband and Belgian Shepherd Kai.
Andrena Paterson joined the practice in July 2015 as a part-time receptionist, having worked in another veterinary practice locally.
She lives in Chesham with her husband, son and labrador puppy called George.
